No, I don't think so
"You have been trying really really hard to scare people away from installing SP2."

And with good reason. It is a relatively useless update. If you use a browser other than IE, have a firewall, and are patched otherwise, SP2 is a complete waste of a lobotomy. I have never gotten a virus, trojan, it's gotten to the point where I don't even get any spyware anymore..so what will SP2 do for me? NOTHING! And what could go wrong? EVERYTHING! Is it really worth a possible hosing of one's machine for pretty much zero benefit? I will download this individual patch and I'll be done with it. So if the next vulnerability (that surfaces today or tomorrow) that SP2 did not fix arises, what would your whining mean then? I should've installed Sp2 even though I'm still not secured? Again, what's the point?

"If a virus is developed that wipes out a user's system, and that user ended up not installing SP2 because they fell for the FUD you were spreading about SP2, will you take responsibility?"

Umm, you are an adult are you not? Adults can think for themselves, can't they? So by your "logic", those that jump off a bridge because they were instructed to have a right to complain to their rabblerouser. By your "logic" I deserve a refund from John Ashcroft for scaring me into buying duct tape for my windows to keep out the terrorists. Yes, this does seem pretty retarded. And it also testifies to the pathetic state of someone's life that they'd blindly follow the suggestions of another (a stranger, no less) and then expect to be compensated when something goes wrong, as though following the suggestion of another myseriously makes this other person ultimately responsible for whatever bad happens as a result of someone following their advice. We all big boys. Those that need romper room and sandboxes in order to navigate their way through life have much more serious problems in general than the possibility that their Windows toy may get hosed..no?..;-)
