for starters.. the sidebars...

i know you guys need to put adds to make money, but do the sidebars have to take up 30% of the available width? You combine that with the page itself being like 85% width and it makes for a limited reading space.
Also, the obligatory, middle of the article adds. they appear opposite the sidebar, that further reduces the available article space to maybe 20%

NOTE: i am just eyeballing the numebrs, but despite numerical inaccuracies, i think my point of the visual affect stands.

My prefference (as if i really count, but you asked) would be for most of the stuff in the sidebar to be either above or below the article.

It's really a tradeoff. The ads bring income, but it's the articles that bring readers...
