This more common that one would think
Ever use a custom program developed developed in-house? If so, you may suffer a similar fate.

Norton AV disabled Quicken for a few days back in 01. My Trend Micro AV has killed a few utilities I run on my Windows box. In both cases, new virus signature files issued fixed the problem and the apps subsequently behaved normally although I had to reinstall the Tweaks I got. But how can you fix a denial of access to an ISP? How can one get the fix if one cannot connect?

I run BDC AV on my Linux box, no such problems have been encountered in the past 3 years. Doesn't mean that it could never happen, it just hasn't. BTW, I love my Mandrake box, a pleasure to use.
