I read your post several times over and I can't for the life of me get the jest of what you are trying to say. The only sensible statement was ownership of IP. Perhaps you should write to make sense for all.
As for the article, with the virii and trojans invasion of the windows world, there is never gonna be a secure and spam-free e-mail environment. There will have to be many alternatives that work, other than microsoft's monopoly regime AND that has standards for compatibility.
