USING THE OFFICE INTERNET IS A PRIVELDGE
As with any work environment, users either sign an exceptable use policy or click on an "ACCEPT" radial button on their desktop when they first log in.

If it has been determined that pornography (legal or otherwise) is 'intentionally' viewed and images saved (including any repeat history files) - then some type of action must be taken.

By agreeing to the acceptable use policy, the user agrees to the terms of the agreement which states "can include not only removal of internet priveldge but disiplinary action leading to possible termination."

An accidental URL entry or search result is one thing, but repeat history is another - especially of the same offense.

A place of employment is not the kind of location to take in porn. If a user needs it that badly - do it at home.

There are too many legal issues at stake here that will make the company liable and porography is one of them.

Remember all of those wonderful hours of Sexual Harrassment Training and Civil Treatment Training?

When a trainee signs the attendence form, he/she agrees to the legalities which can include termination (not to overlook a ruined reputation).

Most companies hold to a "ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY" and pornography falls into that catagory.

Offenders will be the first to 'balk' at the policy - but rules are rules and if a user is intentionally viewing porn - history will speak for itself - any they have been warned.
