- Why would you be dumb enough to surf porn at work?
- I mean come on, use some common sense. I know these idiot users think the PC given to them to use by the company think that it's their "personal" PC to use as they see fit, but come on, don't be stupid. I make sure I always tell my users when they call me and say "my pc is acting up", that it's the companies PC, not theirs. I do know what they mean by saying it, but it gets them the idea that it's companies property and not theirs. They are paid to do a job, not use company resources to browse their favorite porn site. I've had to let a couple people go due to this problem, and they think it's right to surf porn while on company time. They sign a contract telling them that if they are caught doing this, they will be terminated, a simple computer resources policy. I think many companies now a days are doing the policy for just this fact. It's quite a simple lawsuit if some lady is walking by and they are doing this stuff. If they want to surf porn, do it on their own time, on their HOME PC, not on the companies dollar.
