I must respectfully disagree; RFID needs regulation.
Hi Declan,

I am surprised; typically you offer well considered advice, but this course of action is ill?advised.

We have tried business self-regulation. It failed. Just check out Enron, World Com, and a long litany of others following in their foot-steps. You are advocating letting the Ken Lays of the business world determine how I should be protected from their criminal enterprises. We may as well make Osama Bin Laden the head of Homeland Security. This is folly.

Unfortunately, the de-regulation experiment has proven that our industry leaders have are incompetent (at best), negligent (mostly), and criminal (at worst).

Regards,
Jon
