When ever stories like this pop up I am amazed at the reactions.
People just do not stop and consider that the genie has been out of the bottle for a long time. Considering that personal information is one of the coins of the realm, anything that enhances the collection of and collating of that information is going to be improved upon with the expansion of technology. The time to worry ahs long since past.

Worried about RFID tags and privacey issues? Consider this, every year each person in the United States is required to "voluntarily" surrender very private information when filing income taxes. So excuse me while I laugh at Chicken Littles that worry themselves because an RFID tag may be placed on their box of condoms they purchase.
