This article is based on someone?s lack of understanding on how Bluetooth security works.
"A little knowledge is a dangerous thing"

There is a line near the end of the article.
"Bluetooth users should avoid initially connecting their devices in a public place in order to limit the information a potential attacker could collect."

This initial connection is only required to be made once and generates a 32 digit Link Key which is not generated over air.

I challenge any equipment to be able to break both link Key and PIN code during this generation process.

As for ease dropping on Phone - headsets in Office blocks! This is ridiculous.

These "Experts" should spend more time getting their facts right rather than sending out inaccurate information.
