Huh? (Unjustified conclusions)
There is a little bit of ambiguity to your claims, so I will assume you meant to say:

- 58% of the computers Apples sells are laptops.
- On average, only 26% of computers sold are laptops.

Using these points you seem to conclude that Apple laptops are more popular than other laptops. Unfortunately, you cannot make that conclusion based on those two data points.

For instance, it is possible that consumers simply don't buy desktop Apple machines for any number of reasons. (Overpriced, don't fit needs, don't like them, whatever.) By decreasing the number of desktops purchased, you increase the percentage of Apple laptops purchased in relation to all Apple computers sold.

Really all you can say is, of the people who purchase Apple computers, a higher percentage of them chose to buy a laptop than might be expected based upon the industry average.

I don't think that necessarily means Apple laptops are more "popular." (Depending, of course, on what your definition of popular is.) It certainly does NOT mean Apple laptops are more popular than other brands.
