Actually, nobody implied that. Lovestruck, as you have stated, was less talking about outsourcing and more using his is a thread to piss and moan about Google and place sole responsibility on their shoulders. That's rather the opposite of absolving them of all responsibility.

B.O.F.H. responded to that by posting actual clips of the article showing that Google outsourced. This doesn't necessarily mean that he believes Google is blameless. Rather, B.O.F.H.'s behaviour is a less than polite response to Lovestruck's whining.

I agree, though. A company chooses who to outsource with another company is not blameless. Google had already decided to end its relationship with this company before such incident occurred, which makes one wonder how clear this company's lack of security was to Google and other companies.
