While I totally agree with your point of view YEAHRIGHT, the biggest problem I face was not mentioned. The people I have to convince that there "is a lot of bad out there" are the managers with whom I consult. Many of these well meaning individuals think risk avoidance is keeping an obnoxious ex-employee out of the building. Time and time again I have worked with managers who assume that "It won't happen here, yah hear".
What worries me the most is what worries you YEAHRIGHT. The original hackers, etc, were DP pros who thought break-in were fun. Now we have a fledgling industry being supported and grown by all measures of criminals. It is now in motion and it will not stop until we, as they say, ?give a few baton shampoos?.
