Apples product can't pirated this way
Right from the first paragraph of the article it clearly states that purchases songs from I-Tunes still cannot be shared or trade in this manner.

"Songs purchased from the iTunes music store and wrapped in Apple's copy-protection technology cannot be traded."

So what's the big deal? I put my MP3 ripped off an older CD with no copy restriction on I-tunes or in a shared folder on the network. Same thing either way.

Don't see why the recording industry would be upset unless they are just looking for any reason under the sun, even stupid reasons, to be upset.
