I don't think this will break the camel's back
This is a fairly benign program, one that probably falls under
established fair use guidelines. I personally, don't think Apple
will have too many philosphical problems with this, although I
do think they'll break it with the next iteration of iTunes, just to
placate our RIAA overlords.

The RIAA won't be satisfied until you have to pay each time you
listen to a song, and buy a different copy for every single
location where you listen to it. They're killing the goose that laid
the golden egg with their greed. Look at their desire to raise the
price of legal downloads above that of a purchased cd to see an
example of them letting their greed destroy their business.
