First of all the article deserves a disclaimer - Cyber Ark is an Israeli security vendor with a vested interest in selling their products that protect password databases. That should have been made clear in the article.

Second of all - this is a relatively old phenomenon which we are familiar with going back 25 years to hacking CICS passwords. I would say that in most cases, even if I agree with the threat probability of the attack - I would tend to downgrade the damage level of the attack. It's like peeping on girls in the locker room. Not nice, maybe immoral but unless it leads to a cyber-crime - I would tend to address this particular threat with a acceptable usage policy.
