Nice article mate
Recently one of my friend's website was overloaded by bots which took the forum down which has more than 400K members and at least 3k are online at a time. The poor Forum software could not hold the traffic
The just won't come up until the bots go off... this kept happening for more than a week and from top 500 rank in alexa they came down to 10k in just a week!
And most of all... later on we got the know that all this was down by a 16 year old kid with freeware software from his desktop!
