eBay is the parent of PayPal, and no better.

You did right in contacting the seller, but it would also been a good thing to contact eBay, or PayPal when this sort of thing involves PayPal. But, they make it nearly inpossible to send warnings about possible fraud. They claim to persue it, but how do they find out about it from the user who receives the scam eMails?

Again, I say that they should BOTH provide a single button click on the opening sign in page for reporting this sort of thing. Anything else is fraudulent on their part (claiming to be interested in preventing fraud).
