No! Say it isn't so!
What? Another new virus? But how can that be? Another newly exploited loophole in the Redmond petri dish? Does that mean that VirusScan TC's "Windows Virus Counter" will go up from it's current reading of EIGHTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR to 84,835?

Oh dear, it's almost like there's a new Windows exploit, worm, virus or trojan appearing every few weeks, isn't it? Oh, sorry, I forgot, it is EXACTLY like there is a new Windows exploit appearing every week or two. Aren't we on course for 100 new security exploits for this year? Gosh, the salesforce at Microsoft must be really proud. Even though Microsoft's product is insecure, expensive, riddled with critical security weaknesses that would render it un-saleable without anti-virus and daily -ahem! weekly - Koff! MONTHLY security updates.

Still, whatever makes you happy while you're losing money you don't need to.

Meanwhile, as Google will attest, there are still a terrible, un-trustworthy 32 viruses for Linux in total! 32! Evidently if Linux was a better OS it would have thousands of virus, just like Windows.

Oh, dear, there I go again, the safety critical, business critical software systems are developped and run on *Nix platforms precisely because the proven (30 years and counting) system design of Unixes means they simply can not be compromised in the same hot-knife-through-butter way that malware rips through the tangled mess of low-level functionality and branded Microsoft applications known as "Windows".
