- what is really going on.
- AMD seems to always be one step behind especially when it comes to marketing. How many adds do we see when it comes to AMD? Myself as a person working for an OEM/VAR I have seen none, but Intel sends me something every week. I never forget about Intel and even though they don't support this one thing in there chip is that really going to stop me from buying there processors? No AMD must begin to build there processors not only in the labs, but in the marketplace. AMD might be great at sending engineers in the lab to design a new processor but are terrible when it comes to sending a PR person out to build a new campaign to build the processor a market. I myself stopped using AMD's a long time ago especially when I kept having problems with the K6's unreliabilty especially in gaming. Then when a relative bought a Athlon based Compaq I ended up getting it and have to reboot every 10 to 15 minutes during activity it didn't improve my opion of AMD. The only operating system I have found that actually works good on an AMD is Linux but I am not suprised as Linux works great on anything!
