Cautious AMD with Microsoft
I do not believe that AMD lost an golden opportuniy with DEP. I think AMD wanted be sure this feature will work and come on time on SP-2 before making a lots of noise about it. They might have a egg on their face if DEP did not work after making a lot of promotion on this. Beside many consumers will believe that this is the all cure fore all virus and computer problems and will be very angry when they find out it does not cure or prevent everything.
