I purchased the computer to suit my existing hardware, dimbulb. And if you want Windows users to switch to Linux, then have Linux (a) user friendly and (b) able to supply the drivers for the existing range of hardware. Linux falls far short on both.

Oh...and there is NO Linux equivalent for Endnote, the academic bibliographic database. That is absolutely essential to me in my line of work.

Second guessing a post and selective editing out does you zealots no favours.
