License problem sorted yet?
I recall Microsoft only release Sender ID under a license that wouldn't allow it to be used with GPL software. Worse still it was a changable, non transferable license, so g*d only knows what the license terms would be for competing software in 5 years time, if it ever became a standard.

It was incumbered with patents and license problems and IETF was going to sort it out within 8 days. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. Never did hear if they'd fixed it.

What happened, did IETF get a license sorted for it or not?
Without that license its kind of useless.
