No thanks, not if it's Microsoft
The fact that "The technology relies on Microsoft's Caller ID for E-Mail technology" scares the hell out of me.

First, Microsoft has proven a multitude of times that it can't secure anything for very long.

Second, this will likely be another attempt by Microsoft to monopolize the entire internet. If their technology becomes an industry standard and is therefore mandatory in all email client software, the price will suddenly go sky high, watch and see. Unless Microsoft is willing to make this technology public domain, we shouldn't go anywhere near it.
