Opera doesn't use libpng.
According to http://groups.google.it/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&th=19fd283f01757f7b&rnum=6
current Opera versions, 7.54 and a few before, don't use libpng. 7.54 is a new security upgrade since I last checked.

Says that on Linux, Opera uses Qt and Qt uses libpng, but not for "untrusted" PNG files. I suppose that leaves the online manual and/or skins. If that's so, then conceivably a malicious skin file could be used to compromise a Linux machine running Opera to at least user level. Regardless, Linux users should consider changing their libpng, and Windows users should consider changing their outlook.
