It is not surprising
that although Oracle's DBMS had some security issues nobody could manage to exploit them. Ofcourse it is not wise to claim unbreakability while you are not even yourself sure hoe many vulnerabilities are present.

It is MUCH HARDER though to compromise a system with some sec. problems when the platform itself is robust.

It is a fact of life: no matter how hard you try to correct an application, if the platform itself is badly designed and shodily implemented, your efforts are HOPELESS. MS is a living proof of this.
