Yeah, some people will object.

The ones that still believe that freedom is more precious than safety will object.

As to the others, they will slowly abdicate more and more freedom, until none is left. Then some other country that is not populated by a bunch of pu**ies will come along and take over. It will be easy because they will already have all of their spying infrastructure in place.
