Yeah, the deed was bad, but hey, it still is very impressive. How many of us can say we did something on such a grand scale and in such a short time... just a few days, weeks?
It's kind of scary when you think the kid is only 18 and his creations didn't have ANY harmful payload and yet did so much damage. Which was indirectly done through network and CPU usage. Think for a second what a more experienced vicious programmer could do (erase/encrypt random files, key sniffers, !!!SPAM!!!
,... ).
I hope he won't be fed to the lynching mob, but instead will actually get a fair trial... probably won't as he did tick the wrong people off.
