Hmm, this is not really new news...
I've been getting these emails for the past week and ahalf and they all are not coming from a spoofed citibanke-mail.

I think these things are appealing to people's greedy nature as well. It would seem that if you didn't knowingly apply for a credit card or loan, there is no reason why a total stranger would say 'your approved'But unfortunately people will fall for this one too.
