Windows OR Linux ???? that is the question
I have been folowing this forum for some time now. Different topics different discussion , but there is always the same thread comes up.
windows sucks, Linux is better, end of story.

well it is not that simple , and I am surprised that no one seams to understand that it is not .

the simple argument to sum everything up is this :

Linux users are right about one thing it IS possible to make Linux OS absolutely secure. and I have seen it done. BUT if you do this to an average home computer system it will become absolutely useless to the user. if you lock everything down to the point that you need to log out and log in as root every time you need to run something, or change a setting or two it becomes and aggravation and an average user will simply overcome that. HOW you ask ...
well by login in as root every time. That?s what they do now.
And here you go, by doing so A USER renders all the security 100% useless.
Your perfect OS stable and protected is exposed 100%.

Now combine that with 95% market share, thus making it an appealing target and we will have the same discussion we have now about windows, but it will be about Linux. Maybe to the lesser scale but still?????..
