Why They Accept It
Take a look around at the responses here. People are whining that SP2 will take away their ability to remotely tinker with the OS's on their company's installed machines. They whine about this or that ability being lost.

THEY HAVE GROWN LAZY BECAUSE BILL GATES TRIES TO MAKE WINDOWS DO EVERYTHING THEY USED TO DO. TO THEM, FIXING WINDOWS IS PARAMOUNT BECAUSE IT SAVES THEM GETTING THEIR NAILS DIRTY TOO OFTEN!

You know what? I'm glad if the patches screw up their easy life. Maybe they'll learn some working man's discipline for a change instead of standing around the water cooler bitching about the stains on their Lexus' leather uphostelry.

Maybe they'll look for a good solid stable platform that lets them continue to learn more about their craft rather than trying to keep up with every G-D Bill Gates "solution."
