Terry Flores, in a post, expresses the ramifications of "data mining". Allow me to ask, do you use credit cards??? How about a store's "preferred customer card"?? Answer to either one YES??? Then you have been data mined. Pay for prescriptions with a credit card, then possibly your medication history is SOLD to anyone who has the money to pay for it. Retailers like to associate people with their purchasing choices. MA's (aka Marketing A------s) just love the idea of serving up advertisements to those they feel are receptive. And it is not getting 'better' soon. Final question: "How would you feel if I were to gain access to certain private details; and sold them to the highest bidder - and you have ABSOLUTELY no say about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think about it, and THINK HARD.
