Sure, data mining is scary. ... Most of the blame lies on the INDIVIDUAL!

I wouldn't say the individual, but as a society we don't want to regulate businesses. It makes no sense, but it's true. If we'd take our head out of our a** we might realize on what side our bread is buttered, but instead we swallow the corporate line about "free society" or some other nonsense.
