Well fact is you are waiting since they don't have one yet. And yes they told you, but given what the problem is and the amount of time it has been a problem you would think it would have come up a little sooner if it were that bad of a problem.
I like Firefox for it functionality, (and is my browser of choice) not because I have any illusions that all the sudden I am secure surfing. As Mozilla/Firefox continues to gain in use I expect we will see more patches down the road.
