MS Patchs are poor policy
Constant releases of patches tend to be ignored in part due to the painful nature of the requirement to re-boot the servers after updating to effect the patch. If MS can't seem to get the security right in the first place, why don't they spend some of their considerable resources designing an operating system that can implement the changes without taking your system down? Seems to work in Unix.
