RFID takes up the counterfeit watch

How does this help?: Really now, So the retailers of these counterfeit watches aren't going to have bogus "readers" for these chips? "Look, the watch checks out on the reader, that means it's REAL" These devices won't have any effect except to perhaps discourage internet sales.
