Stupid Users
"Let's implement Linux among those stupid users and see what happens in the world of viruses".

Yes lets. Oh! Just a minute! We already have. Linux is out there in the world of virus writers and those writers have so far FAILED to produce anything. Gosh! Why is that? It's because Linux is more secure. It's because a virus pretty much DEPENDS on Windows design flaws to exist. Those flaws don't exist in Linux. You cannot add an executable attachment to an email and have Linux run it without user consent, it is impossible due to design of Linux. "

It is not the virus writers who are stupid. It is end users who open these ridiculous attachments. The fact is that the typical Linux user is tech savvy. That person is not likely to ever open an unknown attachment. Any attempts to attack Linux in this manner at the present time would fail because of this. Many MS users, however, are completely technically ignorant. They open attachments and even grant permission to install software on their machines (think adware) without having a clue what they are doing.

If those types of users migrate to Linux, then you will see a new wave of viruses attacking that OS. They may not spread as fast due to better underlying security, but the virus writers will find a way.

Oh, by the way Jellyclock, you were absolutely right that you did not say (at least in this thread) that users are rushing from MS to Linux. Apparently I mixed up your posts with some others I read. Sorry for that confusion.
