Standard / BORING News on MS Insecurity
``The latest virus, called Bagle.AI by some antivirus companies and Beagle.AG by others, spreads through e-mail as an attached file, which infects a user's PC when opened.''

Here we go again.... And it's only Monday.

`` The virus is extremely similar to previous versions of the program but uses a different form of compression as a way to dodge virus defenses.''

What? That's it? It is extremely similar but it can still fool the allmighty AV s/w even on ``protected'' machines? That is really boring news.

``"It really looks likes someone took the source code and changed a small number of things and then re-released it," said Oliver Friedrichs, senior manager for antivirus company Symantec's security response team. ''

Now we know who we can NOT trust in this `Trustworthy Computing' business: neither MS nor all the security `experts' which rush to protect people so inadequately.

I just wonder if there are still IT `professionals' who still entrust the ms platform to carry out critical tasks. Really, when is all this going to end? This is rediculous and worse it has become NOT news anynore so people apparently stopped paying attention.
