- Tivo & alarms work fine for me with Vonage

Tivo works fine, in both initial setup and regular operation, over my Vonage line. You can even use a wireless phone modem jack to connect the Tivo to the Vonage box.
Alarm system also works over Vonage. Might even be more reliable since many burglars cut the phone line to disable alarm call-out. Haven't seen many that cut the cable-tv line, yet.
