Tivo issue
I consider myself a pretty technical person so I'm confused over the Tivo issue. I have Tivo and yes its plugged into a phone jack it can dial out and do what it has to. So why can't it do this if you have VOIP? Is the assumption being made that most people won't or don't know how to re-wire their phone jacks to make them all VOIP? Or is there some technical reason I'm missing?
