The Emperor's new clothes
The marketshare of Apache and Windows server are close
percentage wise, and yet the Microsoft product has proven
far more vulnerable.

The Windows monopoly on the desktop greatly assists the
propagation and spread of viruses (cascading failure rates),
which combined with it's lack of inherent security model
makes it the target of choice for any script kiddie who can
cut and paste.

Thus marketshare is one reason that virus writers target
Windows. The fact that it is easy to crack is a more
important reason.

When Linux and/or OSX gain marketshare parity with
Windows installations there will still be far more exploits on
the Windows side due to the inherently flawed construct of
Microsoft's products.

So keep laughing Toady.
