- You know any network from Linux, Mac, to Windows can be secure. Proper security design and policy should be implemented. If you have a linux network and your root account is easily breached then your network is still comprimised. There is an equal ammount of Linux security patches and fixes out there, just they don't make the headlines everytime one is released. And the Mac has'nt been free of the bugs and flaws either. So don't rest on your laurels and think just becuase your network runs linux and mac that it is secure. Because all it takes is one motivated individual to bring it all down.
