what in the HECK are you linux phreaks talking about?
this is NOT a windows vulnerability people. this is a STUPID PERSON vulnerability. they are dumb, dont know anybetter, and run a program they shouldn't on their computer. THAT'S IT. ALL OF IT. COMPLETELY ALL OF IT.

today's problems are simply because of sheer user stupidity, and i seriously think there should be some sort of lincensing scheme for new computer users because of the amount of chaos someone who hasn't a clue what they are doing can cause.

i've spent a year in internet tech support hell, MANY times i've had idiots call me up cause they're computer is busted only to find that they have DELETED RANDOM FILES TO CONSERVE HARD DRIVE SPACE. WHERE did they delete the files from? THEY CAN'T REMEMBER. i am NOT joking on this, i have real recorded phone calls. would you call THAT a windows security problem? something tells me you would find a way to.

if linux was as easy to use, and social engineering was throwing programs with only one command in them (delete system folder), NO DOUBT hundreds of thousands of people would FIND A WAY to run it on their linux box.
RECENT virus attacks have come in PASSWORD PROTECTECED ZIP FILES. if a person will save an attachment, open it, put in a password provided to them in the email, and run the unknown program, THEY WILL DO IT ON ANY OPERATING SYSTEM.

HELP ME campaign for a new computer user licensing system if you truly want to help. if you want to sit there and whine about things that dont exist, by all means, keep at it.
