What Condition My Condition Was In...
""": Microsoft also unveiled new security technology that will allow IT managers to prevent end users connecting to the corporate network unless their machine has the correct updates and security policies installed.

The Network Access Protection (NAP) technology will detect the "health state" of a PC or laptop attempting to connect to the network and will be shipped as part of the Windows Server 2003 update release, codenamed R2, which is due next year.

Specifically, NAP determines whether a networked client machine is compliant with IT-defined network access policies when they try to connect. It then automatically restricts noncompliant machines to a separate, restricted network where the necessary patch and antivirus updates are available. Once the machine is updated the client is automatically revalidated for network access.

....

The problem all along the board is the relevance of the idea behind 'person, and 'end -user. An aspect of 'security, vrs 'privacy when a proactive configuration is considered good for some, and 'not so good for others (e.g.count me in cookies ).

Nobodies really dug in for the pie in the sky for this,on the logistics of the legal side,im sure there are ammos loaded, and provision 'accomadated. The screamer however is that corporate situations are 'real dogs''. And the 'pie in in the neighbors window, not necesarily the one your thinking about 'borrowing into with an 'end-user,verses 'person of use situation.

It will come around again, and for sure somebody will be ready for it. But dont ask the corporation to solve it for 'end-user,you are just asking for more 'answers in conditions of unpronounced person.

Teenagers have got it better than any corporation. They dont know what to fear, and their games are much better than the 'educated corporately rigid schematic .

-just talking.
