And who told you that the ONLY advantage of other OS's is security?

Features for Professional Platforms:

1) STABILITY

2) EFFICIENCY

3) SCALABILITY

4) COMPLIANCE TO INTERNATIONAL NETWORKING STANDARDS

5) SECURITY

6) PORTABILITY ACCROSS PLATFORMS and ACCROSS VERSIONS OF the SAME PLATFORM.

7) etc.

MS was struggling with STABILITY and BUGS until the win2K era, i.e., for 20 years since the introduction of MS-DOS.

For the middle to high-end tier data / compute and communications centers UNIX is still the way to go. It provides all of the above PLUS it has PROVEN reliability, availability and serviceability. Let alone the fact tha several big organizations still utilize MAINFRAMES.

You are seeing the entire computer technology world from the point of view of your PC. This is a sorely shortsighted view.
