Progress is ONE thing. The other
is WHERE MS products WERE SUPPOSED to be right NOW wrt security and resilience.

It is true that MS has been sensitized to security but they STILL have VERY LONG WAY to go to get to a point were organizations and individuals can start trusting them.

If it weren't for the long string of embarassing ms windows compromises on a global scale, MS would never had done anything about it. Another important fact is that litigation has started brewing for civil and criminal responsibility of vendors who openly and continuously disregard the basic welfare of their customers.

But again, it seems that MS has been preparing its own `meal' for very long time. It's now time to eat it. The taste is for sure very bad.
