I'll believe it when I see it.
Microsoft has been beating this drum for a long time and has, as far as I can see as a consumer, made *zero* progress. Every day there are new flaws uncovered. Not only that, the rates of flaws and subsequent patches seems to be increasing. This is progress?
It sounds like they have been reading too many of their own press releases.

"...criticized businesses for failing to be more proactive on security"? If Microsoft had been more proactive on security to start with, we wouldn't be in this mess.
This sounds a lot like blaming the mugging victim for the mugging because they happen to be walking down the street too close to a dark alley.
