100% on the point. Most MS holes...
don't have anything to do with security. They are hole in places security doesn't address. When malware rides in on a connection you made going out, security cannot stop that. It is a result of bad coding by MS's product. Only fixing the application can fix this hole. And if the application wasn't crammed into the OS kernel, it wouldn't be the threat that it is.
