maybe you should do your own research..
rather than listening to the others who post strictly for MS. You bable the same thing, exactly the same way as the others do. I don't exclusively use linux, i don't exclusively use Windows, I use what gets my job done, and what my clients want. No matter the security measure you introduce to your home, office whatnot, there will be problems, with every OS/Application, no software is perfect. I would not believe for 1 second that just because something has a smaller user base that it is not being looked at as something to attack. Linux is in the news, on commercials for IBM, so people know it's out there. Firefox alone hit 1 million downloads from their main site, thats not counting the numerous mirrors hits. There is still quite a number of people using it, so your lame point about user base is totally bogus. Throw that line out the window, it's old and worn out. Windows will have to build a complete OS from the ground up to fix their flaws, due to the way they designed their kernel, plain and simple. You can comment all you wish, but the simple fact is that you can't add more features onto something that is already unstable and figure it to become more secure. With everything you fix in windows, you open another hole that soon is found and has to be patched yet again. Oh and your firewall point, unless the home users know how to configure them correctly, flawed logic yet again. You know how many people i've seen using software firewalls don't read instructions and if asked about something attempting to use the internet, they simply click "yes", real secure.

Your comments were fine until you showed your true face, the "no matter what the anti-MS crybabies say.", through any thoughts of taking your article seriously right out the window.
