Yeah yeah blame the customer first
"Microsoft claims it has made "real progress" in the last year towards its goal of Trustworthy Computing but criticized businesses for failing to be more proactive on security."

This week is a great indication of the gains on security Microsoft has made. What? 6 - 7 critical updates this week alone. What does Microsoft do in the outset of this story? Blame the user.

I have been reading Talkback and other TECH/Business forums now for 5 years and have seen calls from business owners to Microsoft to fix their software. No Microsoft, the problem IS NOT business taking a proactive stance in Security, the problem resides in Redmond. Most businesses addressed security with the hiring of Techs and installation of third party software/hardware to make Microsofts OS safe for use. If they have not then they are foolish but the problem still begins in Redmond. Microsft refuses to heed the calls from consumers, businesses, security "experts", techs and yes even users of other OSes.
