Win vs Lin and people destorying PC's
This is my personal observation. People who don't know jack about computers and computing tend to get infected by viruses, render their machine inoperable, and lose data.

I have been using a Windows desktop for years and have never been infected with a virus or lost any of my data. I also use Linux on the server end at home and at work.

It has nothing to do with the operating system, I think it has everything to do with the person using the computer.

99% of the people out there with a computer don't know jack about it, just like I dont' know jack about how to fix my car if it breaks down.

After seeing the way tech people argue back and forth over Lin vs Win, I finally understand why the rednecks at my highschool were so adamant in their Ford vs Chevy wars.
